The Story Behind Matty English
Madhav Soni — Founder of Matty English
My name is Madhav Soni, and I am the founder and creator of Matty English, based in Indore, India.
My journey with English started in 2016, when I began studying English grammar and advanced English usage in depth. As I learned and explored the language, I realised that many people struggle with English not because they are incapable of learning it, but because they are afraid of making mistakes or find traditional explanations difficult to understand.
This inspired me to start Matty English in 2017 with a simple purpose: to educate people and help remove the fear of English through simple and practical learning techniques.
I initially focused on grammar and advanced English usage. Over time, Matty English grew to include spoken English, everyday sentences, vocabulary, idioms and phrases, and practical communication.
A Simple Approach to Learning English
My teaching approach is based on one simple idea that is English should be easy to understand and easy to use.
Instead of relying only on complicated explanations, I use simple sentences and examples connected to everyday life. This helps learners understand how a particular word, sentence, expression, or grammar structure can actually be used in real communication.
Whether it is a grammar rule, a new vocabulary word, an idiom, or a spoken-English sentence, the focus is always on making it practical and understandable.
